The UP-UP cocoa farm is the first in the world to be certified by Slavefreetrade.org. El Rosario farm sits in Necoclí, a little town in Antioquia, Colombia, right on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Urabá. This region has had its fair share of struggles—violence, conflict, and the scars of the war on drugs.

What started as 400 hectares of cacao turned into over 250 jobs. More hands, better wages, and a real shot at a better life.
